Three people were injured in an armed clash between two feuding parties in Arnavutköy, Istanbul.
In Arnavutköy, Istanbul, an armed clash between two feuding parties resulted in injuries to a foreign national and two of the individuals involved in the dispute.
E.K. and F.K., who arrived at İslambey Neighborhood on a motorcycle, opened fire with handguns at Y.K., with whom they had previously had an argument. When Y.K. returned fire, E.K. and F.K. sustained minor injuries. Mesut Khaznı, a foreign national who was caught in the middle of the armed clash while watching a match at a grocery store, was also injured after being struck by bullets.
While E.K. and F.K. fled the scene, Khaznı, who managed to walk to the front of his house, was taken to the hospital by medical teams dispatched to the scene upon notification.
Police teams took Y.K. into custody. The two individuals who had fled were also taken to the police station for questioning following their medical treatment at the hospital.
Meanwhile, the moments after the clash, during which the two suspects and Khaznı fled, were recorded by security cameras. The footage shows Khaznı, who was watching the match at the store, exiting the building, two helmeted individuals with guns in their hands fleeing, and subsequently Khaznı running while injured.
