301 organizations gather ahead of terrorist organization PKK's statement
In Diyarbakır, 301 organizations consisting of political parties and NGOs have begun a two-day meeting at the Sezai Karakoç Cultural Center to evaluate the statement the terrorist organization PKK is expected to make following its congress.
The terrorist organization PKK announced in a statement yesterday that it had concluded its 12th congress and would soon announce important decisions to the public. This announcement has begun to be monitored closely, particularly in regional politics and civil society circles.
WIDE-PARTICIPATION MEETING IN DİYARBAKIR
Following these developments, 301 organizations came together in Diyarbakır under the leadership of the Democratic Regions Party (DBP) and the Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party). The meeting saw participation from representatives of political parties, non-governmental organizations, and various professional groups.
"UNITY INITIATIVE" DECLARED
DBP Co-Chair Keskin Bayındır also attended the opening of the meeting held at the Sezai Karakoç Cultural Center. Following the opening speeches on the first day of the meeting, a "Unity Initiative" was declared among the Kurds.
