Investigations into the buildings that collapsed following the earthquake disaster, in which more than 50 thousand citizens lost their lives, are ongoing.

While 370 citizens lost their lives at the Emlak Bank Residences in the Cebrail neighborhood of Antakya district in Hatay, one of the cities most affected by the earthquake, the site's contractor, Mehmet Özat, had gone missing.

Özat, who had an outstanding arrest warrant, was found while strolling in a shopping mall in Ankara.

Caught by citizens who lost their relatives in the earthquake, Özat was handed over to the police.
