Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya made the following statement regarding the earthquake:
"Following the 4.4 magnitude earthquake that occurred in the Marmaris district of Muğla province, all teams from AFAD and our institutions have begun field surveys. As of now, there are no negative reports.
We are monitoring the developments.
I extend my best wishes to our citizens affected by the earthquake.
May God protect our country and our nation from disasters."
