4 detained in mining disaster in Erzincan's İliç district: The bill falls to site supervisors!
A disaster occurred yesterday at a mine in the İliç district of Erzincan that had continued operations despite years of warnings. While 9 miners have yet to be reached at the site where cyanide-contaminated soil slid, 4 site supervisors have been detained.

Approximately 10 million cubic meters of soil flowed rapidly down from a 200-meter slope.
9 workers were trapped under the soil, which spread over a wide area. 4 site supervisors have been detained in connection with the disaster.
