4 Fenerbahçe figures stranded amid military tension
Fenerbahçe Beko has released a statement regarding head coach Sarunas Jasikevicius, player Armando Bacot, physiotherapist Jaime Capella Bouza, and sports director Uğur Ozan Sulak, who are stranded in Dubai and Abu Dhabi due to US-Iran tensions.
Fenerbahçe Beko shared information that club personnel are stranded in the region due to explosions in Dubai and Abu Dhabi and the suspension of flights at airports.
It was stated that head coach Sarunas Jasikevicius, player Armando Bacot, physiotherapist Jaime Capella Bouza, and sports director Uğur Ozan Sulak are unable to travel due to security issues in the region while they were in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
SECURITY STATEMENT FROM FENERBAHÇE
The yellow-navy club announced that they are in communication with the club members in Dubai and Abu Dhabi and are in constant contact with safe zones. The statement included the following remarks:
"Our head coach Sarunas Jasikevicius, our player Armando Bacot, and one of our physiotherapists, Jaime Capella Bouza, had gone to Dubai to rest for national and international leagues, while our sports director Uğur Ozan Sulak was in Abu Dhabi to watch the adidas NextGen Tournament. As a result of the explosions in the region, flights at the airports have been temporarily suspended for security reasons."
