4 million TL tender from RTÜK to Yeni Şafak columnist İhsan Aktaş

The Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK) held a tender on August 29 for the "2023-2024 Period Mediameter-Media Usage Habits Research Field Application."

It was reported that the approximate cost of the tender was 4 million 45 thousand TL. It was learned that only the company owned by İhsan Aktaş submitted a bid for the tender.

According to the report by Mustafa Bildircin from BirGün, RTÜK and Aktaş's company, Genar Research, sat down at the table on September 21. The purpose of the research that RTÜK will have Genar conduct was stated as "obtaining data regarding the public's television viewing and radio listening habits, as well as their use of digital broadcasting platforms, the internet, and social media."

It was noted that 5 thousand people aged 15 and over will be interviewed as part of the research. It was stated that the field work will be carried out in 26 cities.

The total amount of public tenders received by Aktaş's company drew attention. The total amount of public tenders received by Genar Research between 2011 and 2023 was recorded as 25 million 809 thousand 844 TL.
