4 people injured in armed clash between two feuding groups in Kahta
In the Kahta district of Adıyaman, four people were injured after a dispute between two groups with a long-standing feud turned into an armed fight. Following the incident, police teams secured the area, and the injured were taken to the hospital.
On Adeviye Boulevard in the Yeni neighborhood of Adıyaman's Kahta district, a verbal altercation that began between two groups this afternoon quickly escalated. According to allegations, the tension between the parties, which initially involved mutual insults, spiraled out of control and turned into an armed clash.
As gunshots were heard, bystanders fled the area in panic, and a large number of police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. Four people who sustained injuries to various parts of their bodies during the clash were taken to Kahta State Hospital by ambulances that arrived at the scene. No statement has yet been made by authorities regarding the health status of the injured.
The District Police Department teams took extensive security measures on the boulevard where the incident occurred and launched an investigation. The police are continuing their investigation to locate other individuals involved in the clash.
