4 suspects apprehended in DAESH operation in Tekirdağ

Teams from the Tekirdağ Provincial Gendarmerie Command's Counter-Terrorism Branch conducted an operation in the Çerkezköy district aimed at uncovering the actions and activities of terrorist organizations.

During the operation carried out on November 21, 2024, in the Kızılpınar neighborhood of the Çerkezköy district, raids were conducted on the addresses of suspects identified as having previously been active within the DAESH terrorist organization.

"THEY WERE ACTIVE FOR DAESH IN THE PAST"

The teams apprehended 4 suspects, who were alleged to have been active for the terrorist organization DAESH in the past, at their identified addresses.

 As part of the operation, detailed searches were conducted in the homes and outbuildings belonging to the suspects. It was observed that gendarmerie teams took intensive security measures and carried out extensive work in the area during the operation.

"THEY WERE REFERRED TO THE COURTHOUSE"

The suspects were referred to the courthouse following their processing at the gendarmerie.
