In a statement made by AFAD, it was noted that the earthquake occurred at 12:09 at a depth of 32.69 kilometers.

The earthquake was felt in Mersin as well as in the Antalya city center.

"Following the 4.6 magnitude #earthquake that occurred in the Mediterranean Sea, off the coast of Gazipaşa, Antalya (58 km) at 12:09, there are currently no negative reports. Field survey operations are ongoing. We extend our best wishes to our affected citizens."
