47 fugitive convicts captured in one week in Sakarya
In Sakarya, 47 fugitive convicts with finalized prison sentences for various crimes, including intentional killing and theft, were captured in one week.
The Provincial Security Directorate's Public Order Branch and district police teams conducted operations between January 29 and February 4 as part of the fight against crime and criminals.
During the checks and inspections, 18 unlicensed pistols, 13 unlicensed rifles, 5 bladed weapons, 32 cartridges of various calibers and brands, and 5 motorcycles, bicycles, and automobiles identified as stolen were seized; 14 unsolved theft cases were resolved, and 1 residence used for prostitution was sealed.
Within the scope of the operations, 47 convicts who had finalized prison sentences of varying lengths for crimes including "intentional killing", "theft", and various other offenses were captured and sent to prison.
