The Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) announced that a 5.1 magnitude earthquake occurred in the Aegean Sea off the coast of Greece.
It was stated that the epicenter of the earthquake, which took place at 22:08, was Ayion Oros (Greece) and was located approximately 146 kilometers from Gökçeada.
The earthquake, recorded at a depth of 8.58 kilometers, caused brief panic in and around Çanakkale, while according to initial reports, there have been no negative notifications.
