5.2 magnitude earthquake in Konya felt in surrounding provinces: Statement from ABB Mayor Yavaş
The 5.2 magnitude earthquake that occurred in the Kulu district of Konya was also felt in Ankara and surrounding provinces. While citizens panicked and rushed to the streets, Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş announced that "all teams are on alert." The epicenter of the earthquake is located 5.39 km from the Kirkkuyu area of Kulu district and 6.39 km from Şereflikoçhisar.
A 5.2 magnitude earthquake occurred in Konya. The earthquake, centered in Kulu, Konya, was also felt in Ankara and surrounding provinces. Those who felt the tremor in the district center rushed outside in a panic. It was noted that the earthquake was 5.39 kilometers from the Kirkkuyu area of Konya's Kulu district and 6.39 kilometers from Ankara's Şereflikoçhisar district. The depth of the earthquake, which occurred at 15:46, was measured at 18.73 kilometers.

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş stated the following in a post on social media following the earthquake:
"The 5.2 magnitude earthquake that occurred in Konya was also felt in Ankara. I convey my best wishes to all our citizens. As the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, we are closely monitoring the developments and are on alert with all our teams."
