6-day demonstration ban in Bingöl

The Bingöl Governor's Office stated in a press release that this decision was taken due to serious indications that public order and security would be disrupted in a way that would stop or interrupt daily life.

The statement noted the following:

"Due to the concern that the safety of life and property, the inviolability of the person, the security related to the disposal of property, and public welfare will be difficult to ensure, all kinds of actions, gatherings, marches, press statements, hunger strikes, sit-ins, rallies, setting up stands, pitching tents, distributing leaflets or brochures, and hanging posters or banners that may be held in open areas are prohibited within the provincial and district administrative borders (including the gendarmerie zone) for a period of 6 days, from 23:59 on December 26 to 23:59 on January 1."
