6 suspects detained in FETÖ operations in Ankara!

In an investigation by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office into the Fetullahist Terrorist Organization (FETÖ), 6 suspects identified as having committed irregularities in the Police Vocational School of Higher Education (PMYO) Entrance Exam have been detained.

According to information obtained, teams from the Ankara Police Department's Financial Crimes Investigation Branch identified the methods used by the organization as part of an investigation into irregularities committed by FETÖ members in PMYO entrance exams.

Following these efforts, an operation was launched in 6 provinces, centered in Ankara, targeting suspects who accessed exam questions prior to the 2006 and 2007 PMYO exams, distributed them to organization members, and those who received the questions and passed the exam.

The 6 suspects detained in the operation were brought to the Ankara Police Department for questioning.

THEY CONFESSED TO RECEIVING QUESTIONS

It was learned that in his statement, police officer A.O., one of the suspects, said that an "organization elder" named N.Y. had given him and other high school students booklets containing questions seized by organization members under the guise of "questions from previous years" at a FETÖ-affiliated dormitory one week before the PMYO exam, and instructed them to memorize the questions and answers. He stated that the exact same questions appeared on the exam he later took, and that he became a police officer with the high score he received.

Information was obtained that suspect S.Ş., who is in custody, reported that he gave the PMYO exam questions in booklet form, provided to him by high-level organization officials, to house supervisors to distribute to high school students staying in houses they called "study houses" before the exam, and that they ensured these individuals became police officers by having them study the questions.

It was determined that members of the organization's "police secret structure" did not lose touch with the students they placed in police schools, and maintained contact with them through suggestions such as "they made them police officers with the questions they provided before the exam and they should feel grateful to the organization."

It was reported that the organization ensured that students continued to attend organization meetings held under the name of "chats" with the same sentiments after graduation, and that they took a portion of their salaries to provide financial gain to the organization under the name of "himmet" (donations).
