600 thousand people were waiting for this news: Critical date for pay raise announced

Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan made important statements regarding the collective bargaining process covering approximately 600 thousand public workers.

"We will submit our second offer to our labor unions via TÜHİS within this week."

Işıkhan stated that the collective bargaining process concerning 600 thousand public workers is proceeding as it has in previous years, reminding that they submitted the first offer to TÜRK-İŞ and HAK-İŞ via TÜHİS last week.

Işıkhan stated, "God willing, we will submit our second offer to our labor unions via TÜHİS within this week. We will continue to follow the subsequent process with you as well. This is the point we have reached. We have specifically invited our unions on an industry-by-industry basis and are holding meetings. I believe that this process will continue just as it has in previous years, God willing."
