7 people hospitalized after wedding meal

According to the information obtained, guests who attended a relative's wedding in the Musrat neighborhood of Uğrak village in the İnebolu district ate the wedding meal. After a while, K.E., M.H., B.B., and B.B., who became ill with complaints of abdominal pain, nausea, and vomiting, were taken to İnebolu State Hospital by medical teams called to the scene. 

Later, E.C. and C.K., who became ill with the same complaints, were also taken to the hospital by medical teams, while one more person was taken to the hospital after falling ill. It was learned that the citizens had eaten chicken and rice at the wedding meal.

Uğrak Village Headman Fatih Efe said, “4 people were poisoned at a wedding in the Musrat neighborhood of our village. 2 more people are coming, they are currently on the way. We estimate that a total of 6 people have been poisoned”.

Gendarmerie teams have launched an investigation into the incident.
