In the Nusaybin district of Mardin, 8 neighborhoods have been declared 'Temporary Special Security Zones' for a period of 15 days. According to a statement from the Mardin Governor's Office, it was stated that the rural areas within the administrative boundaries of the Nusaybin district, specifically the neighborhoods of Üçköy, Güzelsu, Dibek, Kaleli, Taşköy, Bahminin, Yol, and Şekrin, have been declared 'Temporary Special Security Zones' for 15 days between October 6, 2023, and October 20, 2023.
UNAUTHORIZED ENTRY PROHIBITED
The statement said, "It is prohibited for citizens to enter the aforementioned area without permission between these dates for the sake of their life and property safety. Criminal proceedings will be initiated against those who do not comply with the ban in accordance with Article 66 of the Provincial Administration Law No. 5442. It is important for citizens to comply with this ban for their own life and property safety."
