8-year-old Asya dies after iron gate falls on her!

Asya Değirmenci, 8, had an iron gate fall on her while she was playing with her friends in the Çivril district of Denizli.

Those who heard the cries for help from her friends, who saw the little girl trapped under the fallen gate, notified emergency medical teams.

Asya Değirmenci, who was pulled from under the gate, was transported to Çivril State Hospital by medical teams.

Following initial intervention at Çivril State Hospital, Asya was transferred to the University Hospital. 

Despite all interventions by doctors, Asya lost her life.

Asya Değirmenci’s body was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute morgue for an autopsy.

Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Bülent Nuri Çavuşoğlu published a condolence message for Asya, whose father is a municipal employee.

In his message, Mayor Çavuşoğlu stated, “I have learned with sadness that Asya Değirmenci, the daughter of our colleague Ramazan Değirmenci, has lost her life as a result of an unfortunate accident. I pray for God’s mercy upon our child and wish patience and condolences to her family, loved ones, and relatives.”
