Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan announced that a new regulation has been signed by the Social Security Institution to ensure easier access to medicines for citizens. In a post on his social media account, he stated that a total of 95 drugs have been included in the reimbursement list.

88 DOMESTICALLY PRODUCED DRUGS ADDED TO THE LIST

Emphasizing that 88 of the 95 drugs added to the list are domestically produced, Işıkhan highlighted both the importance of localization in healthcare services and the SGK's supportive policies in this direction.

The drugs included in the reimbursement scope are used in the treatment of important diseases such as;

Cancer (5 drugs)

Diabetes (6 drugs)

Chronic Immune Thrombocytopenia (5 drugs)

Thalassemia and iron chelators (5 drugs)

Asthma-COPD (5 drugs)
