95 out of 503 hotels inspected in Muğla have been closed
Following the fire at the Grand Kartal Hotel in the Kartalkaya Ski Center, hotel inspections were increased, resulting in the closure of 95 out of 503 hotels and facilities in Muğla due to deficiencies.
In Muğla, 503 hotels and facilities were inspected as part of efforts to ensure safe and sustainable tourism; 95 of these were closed until their deficiencies are addressed.
A statement from the Governor's Office indicated that 503 hotels and facilities across the province were inspected on-site, with 95 being closed until their shortcomings are resolved, while processing continues for 392 others.
The statement also noted that inspections have been completed for a total of 36 facilities and 70 structures, including 11 dormitories, 8 youth centers, and 17 sports facilities under the Muğla Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports, and emphasized that inspections for safe and sustainable tourism will continue under the coordination of the Governor's Office and in cooperation with all institutions and organizations.
