A first in 9 years: Cabinet meeting to be held at Çankaya Mansion

AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will visit Anıtkabir as part of the commemoration programs to be held on the 86th anniversary of the passing of the Great Leader Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.

Following the official ceremony at Anıtkabir, Erdoğan will attend the commemoration ceremony program to be held at the new building of the Atatürk Supreme Council of Culture, Language and History.

CABINET TO MEET AT ÇANKAYA

Erdoğan will inaugurate the Atatürk Museum at Çankaya Mansion and then chair the Cabinet meeting.

This time, the Cabinet meeting will not be held at the Palace, but at Çankaya Mansion due to November 10.

Çankaya Mansion last hosted a Cabinet meeting nine years ago, in 2015.

CABINET MEETING AGENDA

The meeting is expected to evaluate the reflections of the US Presidential elections on Turkey and the region, discuss the diplomatic contacts made during Erdoğan's visits to Kyrgyzstan and Hungary, and assess the latest situation in the economy.

It is also anticipated that Israel's attacks on Gaza and Lebanon will be among the agenda items discussed at the meeting.

ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENTS ALSO ON THE TABLE

The final topic for the Cabinet will be economic developments. The latest status regarding the fight against inflation, investments, and employment will be evaluated. Following the Cabinet meeting, Erdoğan will make statements regarding the decisions taken.
