Ülkü Ocakları Chairman Ahmet Yiğit Yıldırım announced the achievements of young people in the field of technology. The drone named "Türkkan," which bears the name given by MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli, represented Turkey in the USA. Yıldırım announced that they will organize a technology festival called "Teknoocak" next year with the participation of 100 clubs.
Ahmet Yiğit Yıldırım, Chairman of the Ülkü Ocakları Education and Culture Foundation, announced a new project that will pave the way for young people turning toward technology. Stating that they will bring the work of approximately 100 clubs operating in different cities to the public with the technology festival called "Teknoocak," Yıldırım announced that the festival will be held in May 2026.
At the festival, many technological products, from drones produced by the youth themselves to autonomous systems, will be exhibited. Yıldırım said, “As Ülkü Ocakları, we aim for a youth that produces in the field of science and technology. This festival will be a showcase that will make the voices of our talented young people from all over our country heard.”
PREFERENCE ROBOT IS BACK IN USE
Announcing that the "preference robot" application developed for students preparing for university has been put into service again this year, Yıldırım emphasized that they are mobilizing the opportunities offered by technology so that young people can make more informed choices.
BAHÇELİ GAVE IT ITS NAME
Touching on the successes of technology clubs in various fields, Yıldırım praised the success of the KAAN Technology Club, which won first place in the VTOL competition organized by METU. The unmanned aerial vehicle named "Türkkan," developed by the club, represented Turkey by participating in the SUAS (Student Unmanned Aerial Systems) competition held in the United States.
Stating that MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli personally gave the drone its name, Yıldırım expressed that this success shows both the determination of the youth and the importance Ülkü Ocakları places on technology.
Yıldırım also said that the Arsal Technology Club in Trabzon has achieved successful results in recent competitions at METU. Stating that the projects developed by the Arsal Club attract attention in terms of technical competence and design, Yıldırım said, "These successes are not a coincidence; they are the product of disciplined work."
