The mother of experienced journalist Ayşenur Arslan has passed away.

Arslan shared the news of the passing on social media with the note, "My father.. My sister.. Today, my mother is gone too."

Ayşenur Arslan's mother, Zehra Uyanık, passed away at the age of 96.

Uyanık's funeral will be held in Datça.
