ABB responds to claims of a third investigation permit against Mansur Yavaş
The Ankara Metropolitan Municipality has denied claims appearing in some media outlets that a third investigation permit has been issued against Mansur Yavaş.
The Ankara Metropolitan Municipality has issued a statement declaring that claims regarding a new investigation permit being issued against Mayor Mansur Yavaş are untrue. The written announcement from the municipality emphasized that reports appearing in some media outlets under the headline "3rd investigation permit issued against Mansur Yavaş" do not reflect the truth.
The statement noted that there were previously two separate investigation permits regarding Mansur Yavaş, that the necessary legal appeals have been filed regarding these processes, and that the files are still being evaluated by the Council of State. According to the municipality, one of the files in question was opened due to the stance taken against zoning rent in the Dodurga region, while the other was opened over the allegation of failure to fulfill supervisory obligations in the case known to the public as the 'concert investigation'.
The statement included the following remarks:
- The reports appearing in some media outlets under the headline '3rd investigation permit issued against Mansur Yavaş' do not reflect the truth and consist entirely of fake news. As we have previously shared with the public, there are 2 separate investigation permits issued against Ankara Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş, legal objections have been filed regarding these files, and the process continues before the Council of State. One of the files in question was opened due to the determined stance taken against zoning rent in the Dodurga region, and the other was opened within the scope of the process known to the public as the 'concert investigation' on the allegation that the duty of supervision was not fulfilled. Apart from this, there is no new investigation permit. It is kindly requested that such news and comments aimed at misleading the public should not be given credence.
