Abdulkadir Selvi blames İmamoğlu for the crisis in the İYİ Party and warns Akşener
Journalist Abdulkadir Selvi, known for his proximity to the government, linked the crisis in the İYİ Party to Ekrem İmamoğlu. In his column published today, Selvi stated, "İmamoğlu has a hand in the İYİ Party; he is stirring the party like a mixer."
Hürriyet columnist Abdulkadir Selvi blamed Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu in his column, where he addressed the allegations of missing funds and sexual harassment within the İYİ Party.
"The deputies who have raised the flag against Akşener and the İYİ Party members who defend the alliance are currently in Ekrem İmamoğlu's area of interest," said Selvi, who made the following comment:
"The İmamoğlu media is working on them. So, where do they get news about these names? There are people within the İYİ Party who are in direct contact with Ekrem İmamoğlu. The little birds are leaking the information instantly.
Ekrem İmamoğlu has a hand in the İYİ Party. He is stirring the party like a mixer. Could the goal be to bring Meral Akşener to her knees and force her into an alliance?
Ms. Meral; Kılıçdaroğlu underestimated Ekrem İmamoğlu and paid for it with his political career. You, please be careful."
