Another reaction to Selvi came from AKP member Mücahit Birinci.
Hürriyet columnist Abdulkadir Selvi, known for his proximity to the government, addressed in his column today AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and CHP Chairman Özgür Özel the agenda items for the upcoming meeting between.
Selvi, in his article titled "The Kavala file that will mark the Erdoğan-Özel meeting" wrote that a retrial could be held for the Gezi Park trial convicts and Osman Kavala .

Köroğlu also retweeted a post by AKP member Mücahit Birinci.
Birinci also reacted to Selvi with harsh words.
Here is Birinci's post:
"I read Abdulkadir Selvi's article. Goodness, it's an article that reads like a prosecutor's opinion. Lately, he is either befriending too many lawyers or he has developed an interest in practicing law himself. I have stated this dozens of times before. No one can tie the economic and political future of the Republic of Turkey to an activist sitting in prison. If someone tries to tie it, it means they themselves are tied to 'other places' with that same rope.
Our President is meeting with a party leader. According to this person's article, they are going to talk about Kavala with our President!? Really? The earthquake... The economy... Russia-Ukraine... Syria... Libya... The migrant crisis waiting at the door... Gaza... Iran-Israel... The US election... These are not necessary, right? Let them talk about Kavala..."
EUROPEANISTS AND AMERICANISTS WILL BURN THEMSELVES
Don't mock anyone's intelligence, brother. The place is on fire. You are saying, 'let them talk about the match,' let's take it out. Come to your senses! I am addressing the Europeanists and Americanists who have somehow positioned themselves within our party but will eventually be cleaned out. Whoever plays with this 'match' will either burn themselves or burn their house down."
