Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced: Marmaray, Başkentray, and İZBAN will be free on May 19
On May 19, the Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day, the Marmaray (Istanbul), Başkentray (Ankara), and İZBAN (Izmir) lines operated by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure will be free of charge all day.
Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu made a statement regarding urban rail transport lines in Ankara, Istanbul, and Izmir for the May 19 Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day.
In his statement, Minister Uraloğlu announced that the Marmaray, the Sirkeci-Kazlıçeşme Rail System Line, and the Gayrettepe-Istanbul Airport-Arnavutköy Metro Line in Istanbul; the Başkentray in Ankara; and the İZBAN in Izmir will provide free service throughout May 19.
