Abdurrahman Dilipak’s ‘July 15’ claim taken to court! Criminal complaint filed against 20 people, including Erdoğan
The claim by Islamist writer Abdurrahman Dilipak that "The government knew about July 15 in all its details 4 months in advance" has been taken to court. Halkın Kurtuluş Partisi (HKP) Deputy Secretary General Attorney Tacettin Çolak stated that they have filed a criminal complaint against 20 people, including AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
Islamist writer Abdurrahman Dilipak recently made a post on his social media account, putting forward the claim that "The government knew about July 15 in all its details 4 months in advance."

Following Dilipak’s claim, which became a major topic of discussion, the Halkın Kurtuluş Partisi (HKP) took action.
HKP lawyers filed a criminal complaint with the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Abdullah Gül, Bülent Arınç, Binali Yıldırım, Ahmet Davutoğlu, Mehmet Ali Şahin, Cemil Çiçek, Abdülkadir Aksu, Hulusi Akar, Süleyman Soylu, Hakan Fidan, Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Efkan Ala, Ali Erbaş, the force commanders of the period; Salih Zeki Çolak, Abidin Ünal, Bülent Bostanoğlu, Galip Mendi, Yaşar Güler, as well as all cabinet members and members of parliament.
In the petition submitted to the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office by HKP lawyers, it was alleged that the individuals named committed the crimes of "attempting to overthrow the constitutional order" and "aiding and abetting a crime."
Furthermore, the petition requested that writer Abdurrahman Dilipak and Nurettin Veren, one of the closest figures to FETÖ ringleader Fetullah Gülen at one time, be heard as witnesses.
"AN OPERATION BY THE AKP AND THE FETÖ CULT TO SEIZE THE GAINS OF THE SECULAR REPUBLIC"
Making a statement regarding the criminal complaint, HKP Deputy Secretary General Attorney Tacettin Çolak said, "The bloody uprising of July 15 is not a coup. It is an operation planned by the CIA, designed for the defeat of the FETÖ members, and in essence, it is an operation by two medievalist powers, namely the AKP and the FETÖ cult, to seize the gains of the Secular Republic. The subsequent state of emergency laws, the complete abolition of the parliamentary system, the neutralization of the army, the discrediting of the military by parking garbage trucks in front of barracks, the closure of military academies, the complete dominance of the AKP mentality in national education, the judiciary, and universities, and the transition of the state to the rule of a single person with a dictatorial practice unprecedented in the world, especially with the partisan Presidential system, are proof of this."
CRIMINAL COMPLAINT AGAINST 20 PEOPLE, INCLUDING ERDOĞAN!
Stating that they have filed a criminal complaint against 20 people, including Erdoğan, Çolak said, "In the bloody clash between these two medievalist powers, around 400 of our people lost their lives, and as many were injured or left disabled. We have filed this criminal complaint once again out of our historical responsibility, even knowing that the desired result will not be achieved, in order to enlighten our people more, to ensure they are informed about the facts, and to mobilize the judicial mechanism, which has unfortunately been turned into the law offices of the AKP."
