Access ban on Armut.com lifted
The access ban imposed on the service platform Armut.com yesterday evening has been lifted. The development was announced through a statement on the application's social media accounts.
The statement indicated that the ban was related to a complaint regarding an ambulance service and included the following remarks:
“Regarding Armut.com,regarding the accessban decision, and we learned that the reason for the decisionwas a complaint related to an ambulance servicelisted on our platform. Welearned this.”
The statement, which reminded that there are more than 8 thousand services on the platform,continued.The statement noted that blocking access to theentire site, rather thanlimiting it to just one piece ofcontent, had seriousconsequences. It stated:“Due to a complaintregarding one of these services,
only the relevant content should have been restricted.Instead of remaining limited to the content, blocking access to the entire site has affected the income of nearly 2 million service providers across Turkey and disrupted access to services for millions of users.”
Following the objection filed by Armut.com's lawyers, it was reported that the access ban was lifted by a court decision dated December 9, 2025. The statementThe statement noted, "We have received information that it may take a fewhours for this decision to be implementedby the BTK."
The platform also describeditself with thesewords:
