Access ban on crypto market!

In a bulletin published yesterday, the SPK released a list of crypto exchanges for which it has decided to initiate legal proceedings. 

“It has been decided to initiate the necessary legal proceedings in accordance with the third paragraph of Article 99/A and the fourth paragraph of Article 99 of the Capital Markets Law to block access to websites identified as providing unauthorized crypto asset services to residents in Turkey via the internet,” the statement read.

Ekonomim.com reported that the articles cited as the basis for the decision regulate the requirement for platforms to make the necessary applications to regulatory bodies and obtain the required licenses and permits.
