Access ban on Ekşi Sözlük again! New domain name announced

Ekşi Sözlük's newly used domain name (eksisozluk1923.com) has been blocked.

According to EngelliWeb, this domain name of Ekşi Sözlük was blocked by the decision of the Ankara 6th Criminal Court of Peace dated December 14, 2023, and numbered 2023/13768, on the grounds of 'protecting national security and public order.'

IT WAS ALSO SHUT DOWN ON FEBRUARY 25

Ekşi Sözlük was also shut down on February 25 on the grounds of 'protecting national security and public order,' and the access ban decision was lifted by the court following an appeal made by the dictionary. However, the dictionary was shut down again before it could be opened following the 'appeal.'

Following this, the dictionary management moved the site to other domain names. The first of these, 'eksisozluk2023.com', was blocked on May 13.

The 'http://eksisozluk1923.com' domain name, which the dictionary management opened later, has also been blocked.

EngelliWeb, which announced the access ban decision, used the following statements in its post:
