'They urinated in the mosque courtyard' accusation in Menzil 'inheritance' feud: 17 billion TL fortune

Following Elhüseyni's death, his sons Muhammed Saki, Muhammed Fettah, and Muhammed Mubarek announced that they would lead the community together through a system called 'co-sheikhdom.' The brothers, who took over a community with billions of liras in capital, soon became embroiled in an inheritance dispute.

Despite about a year and a half passing, Menzil's multi-billion lira fortune, companies, and real estate assets have yet to be divided. Most recently, it was announced that a 'Sharia court' had been established to resolve the inheritance dispute.

THE INHERITANCE FEUD REMAINS UNRESOLVED

During this process, Muhammed Saki Elhüseyni stated that the undivided fortune is at least 17 billion TL, and that they possess 1,500 lodges and an estimated 5,000 rental properties. Although Saki Elhüseyni said, “Erdoğan will resolve the inheritance feud,” the issue has not been resolved.

According to a report by İsmail Arı from Birgün, the tension in the Menzil village located in the Kahta district of Adıyaman recently escalated into a brawl involving stones and sticks. Some community members were injured in the fight. A large number of gendarmerie were dispatched to the village.

Rağıp Elhüseyni, son of Muhammed Saki Elhüseyni, said regarding the community members supporting his uncles Muhammed Fettah and Muhammed Mubarek, “They urinated in the mosque courtyard. We are seeking our rights from the state. We have informed the necessary authorities, and they will do what is required.”
