Censorship of 'operation' by Acun Ilıcalı
The drug operation, in which famous names were taken from their homes in the morning hours, has become the number one item on Turkey's agenda. While television channels and news websites reported the developments moment by moment, it was noted that TV8, owned by Acun Ilıcalı, remained indifferent to the news.
Among the names whose statements were taken in the operation, in which many famous singers and actors were detained, was the singer Hadise.
While the reason for TV8's indifference to the drug operation news has not been clarified, according to claims discussed behind the scenes, the fact that Hadise served as a judge on O Ses Türkiye was cited as the reason why these reports were ignored by the channel.
