Ada Nur died in armed clash: Shooter captured

The incident occurred in Eyüpsultan's İslambey Neighborhood on Friday, April 19, at approximately 00:00. According to allegations, while Ada Nur Uzuner was in the car of her brother-in-law Mert Satarım with her 3-year-old son, Satarım encountered his friends on the road. His friends asked Mert Satarım to join them, stating they were going to retrieve a woman they claimed had been kidnapped.

ADA NUR LOST HER LIFE

Upon arriving at the scene, the suspect panicked when he saw the relatives of the person he allegedly kidnapped and opened fire from inside the house. One of the bullets struck Ada Nur Uzuner, who was getting out of the car at that moment. The group with Mert Satarım also fired at the house before fleeing the scene. Ada Nur Uzuner, who lay on the ground wounded for a long time next to her 3-year-old son, lost her life at the scene.

DETAILS EMERGED

Following the incident, teams from the Eyüpsultan District Police Department launched an investigation. The investigation revealed that a woman named S.U. was being held against her will in a residence in the İslambey Neighborhood by an individual named G.E., who uses the alias “azat”. When S.U.'s relatives arrived in front of the residence, G.E., who was inside, opened fire. An armed clash ensued as a result of the gunfire.

SHOOTER CAPTURED

Within the scope of the investigation conducted after the incident, the suspect G.E., who fired from inside the residence, was captured in an operation. Individuals identified as being involved in the incident, H.U., H.Ç., H.Ö., K.Ç., S.K., S.F., and M.S., as well as two women named Z.U. and S.Ç., were also taken into custody. A comprehensive investigation into the incident is ongoing.
