Additional defense system from NATO to Turkey

The Ministry of National Defense (MSB) announced that, within the scope of the NATO Standing Defense Plan, one Italian SAMP-T Air Defense System will be deployed to the 3rd Main Jet Base Command in Konya to strengthen the alliance's air defense capabilities.
In a written statement from the MSB, it was stated that defense and deterrence activities among allied countries are being maintained within the framework of the NATO Standing Defense Plan.
