Adulterated oil operation in Aydın: 850 liters seized
In an operation carried out in the Efeler district of Aydın in cooperation with the police and the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture, 850 liters of adulterated oil were seized. The individuals involved were fined 111 thousand liras.
In a study conducted by police teams in the Efeler district of Aydın, 850 liters of adulterated oil were seized. The Security Branch Directorate of the Aydın Provincial Police Department carried out a joint operation with the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture targeting companies involved in the production and trade of adulterated oil in the Efeler district.
During the operations, a total of 850 liters of adulterated oil, filled into 4.5-liter bottles inside 45 boxes, were seized in a vehicle. The Provincial Directorate of Agriculture imposed a total administrative fine of 111 thousand liras on the individuals.

“Imitation” means showing a food product as if it has characteristics that it does not actually possess... “Adulteration” is defined as the state of producing food products in violation of regulations.
