Earthquakes continue to occur one after another in the Aegean Sea. According to information from AFAD, a 4.5-magnitude tremor occurred at 05:21 with its epicenter in the Aegean Sea.
The seismic activity that began in the Aegean Sea on January 28 is continuing for the 9th day. While hundreds of earthquakes, both large and small, have occurred throughout the day, some have caused alarm. There have been no reports of loss of life or property in the earthquakes affecting the Greek islands. However, nearly 10,000 people have been evacuated from Greece's Santorini Island, where there is a possibility of a volcanic eruption. It is stated that in the event of a possible eruption, Turkey's Aegean coast would also be at risk.

According to information on the website of the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), a 4.5-magnitude tremor was recorded at 05:21 with its epicenter in the Aegean Sea. It was stated that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 7 kilometers.
Two earthquakes occurred during the night: one with a magnitude of 4.2 at 02:50 and another with a magnitude of 4 at 05:16.
