AFAD announces: Alarming earthquake in Erzurum... Citizens took to the streets
It was reported that a 4.4-magnitude earthquake occurred in the Hınıs district of Erzurum at 15:27.
According to information on the website of the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), a 4.4-magnitude tremor was recorded with its epicenter in the Hınıs district of Erzurum.
It was stated that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 6.94 kilometers.
It was noted that residents of the district took to the streets following the tremor. Cold weather continues to affect the snow-covered district.
Hınıs District Governor Onur Bektaş stated that there are currently no negative reports in the district and that their investigations are ongoing.
