After Özel, İmamoğlu also wears the 'winner jacket'

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu attended the Historical Kırkpınar Oil Wrestling festival in Edirne.

The blue plaid jacket worn by İmamoğlu did not go unnoticed.

The jacket, defined in politics as the 'winner jacket' and identified with AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, was also worn recently by CHP Chairman Özgür Özel.

ÖZEL HAD SAID "LET US WEAR IT FOR ONCE"

Özel had explained why he wore the jacket with these words:

"The jacket is my jacket. People are asking who sent it, who gave it, etc. Actually, the jacket isn't that plaid of a jacket, but it appeared that way in the image. Let us wear it for once, what harm is there in that? The party has become the leading party after 47 years, and the name of the jacket is the 'winner jacket'. If you ask why you wore it, we just said, let us wear it for once, what's the big deal?"
