Agenda: Unsolved murders: Akın Gürlek responds to questions on Uğur Mumcu, Hrant Dink, and Ahmet Taner Kışlalı
Speaking on a live broadcast regarding unsolved murders, Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek described 1993 as a "dark period" when asked about cases such as those of Uğur Mumcu, Hrant Dink, and Ahmet Taner Kışlalı. Stating that some files have reached the statute of limitations, Gürlek noted that current legal options are limited. Gürlek emphasized that if new information and documents emerge, investigations would be deepened once again.
Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek made statements during a program he attended. Speaking on Tv100, Gürlek's agenda included unsolved murders.
Gürlek was asked about political assassinations such as those of Uğur Mumcu, Hrant Dink, and Ahmet Taner Kışlalı.
Stating that 1993 was a dark period for Turkey, Gürlek noted that some files regarding unsolved murders have reached the statute of limitations and recorded that what can be done legally in these cases is limited.

Stating that necessary steps would be taken if new information and documents emerge, Gürlek said, "Some murders have reached the statute of limitations; we cannot do anything about those, but if new information and documents arrive, we will conduct work regarding them and pursue them to the end."
