Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek made statements during a program he attended. Speaking on Tv100, Gürlek's agenda included unsolved murders.

Stating that 1993 was a dark period for Turkey, Gürlek noted that some files regarding unsolved murders have reached the statute of limitations and recorded that what can be done legally in these cases is limited.

Stating that necessary steps would be taken if new information and documents emerge, Gürlek said, "Some murders have reached the statute of limitations; we cannot do anything about those, but if new information and documents arrive, we will conduct work regarding them and pursue them to the end."
