Ahbap investigation: Lawyer Ece Güner detained

As part of an investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, an inquiry has been launched into Haluk Levent on allegations of "violating the Law on Associations," "laundering assets derived from crime," and "membership in an organization." It was learned that proceedings have been initiated against a total of 26 suspects within the scope of the investigation.

NAMES OF THOSE DETAINED ANNOUNCED

Within the scope of the investigation, in addition to Haluk Levent, Z.Y., E.G., Ş.B., H.B., M.U., S.K., Y.M., R.S., A.Ö., K.Ö., N.E., G.Ö., E.D., M.Y., Y.C.E., T.S.B., İ.Ç., Y.K., and E.Ö.Ç. were detained. Thus, it was stated that 20 out of the 26 suspects against whom proceedings were initiated have been detained.

ECE GÜNER ALSO DETAINED

In the investigation, a detention warrant was also issued for lawyer Ece Güner, who is alleged to have served as an advisor to Haluk Levent. It was reported that Güner was taken into custody by police teams.

On the other hand, it was determined that B.V., for whom a detention warrant was issued, is abroad. It was learned that efforts are ongoing to apprehend A.Ç., M.S.K., A.B.K., and B.E., who are considered to be fugitives.

HAD MADE A STATEMENT FOLLOWING THE DETENTION WARRANT

In a post on her social media account following the detention warrant issued against her, Ece Güner stated, "I do not know whether Haluk Levent is guilty or innocent: But I do know this, I fought very hard to get back the money I lent, and after that incident, I never made a donation to Haluk Levent or Ahbap again."
