Ahmet Özer reveals: Devlet Bey described my file as 'completely empty' to my daughter

Ahmet Özer made statements regarding the judicial process during a live broadcast on Halk TV.

MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli had previously evaluated the prison sentence given to Ahmet Özer by stating that it "contradicts universal legal principles and is diametrically opposed to the goal and effort of a Turkey without terrorism."

Ahmet Özer shared the details of his meeting with Bahçeli after his release from prison.

"Devlet Bey called me, but since I was in a meeting, my daughter answered the phone. My daughter, Seraf, told him, 'Please, let concrete steps be taken now; do this for our country.' I also highlighted similar points during the press conference.

After I was released from prison, I visited Bahçeli with the knowledge of Chairman Özgür Özel.

Devlet Bey told me, 'I know that your file is completely empty.'

Whenever my country has asked for something from me for the sake of peace, I have offered my contributions. When Süleyman Soylu was an AK Party Deputy Chairman, he had asked for my help to stop the conflicts, and I had contributed."
