Ahmet Türk's grandson Hüseyin Reber Türk killed in armed attack: Police have launched an investigation

Hüseyin Reber Türk, the grandson of Ahmet Türk, a member of the DEM Party and the previously dismissed Mayor of Mardin Metropolitan Municipality, lost his life in an armed attack that took place in Mersin yesterday evening. The incident occurred near the Free Zone interchange on the D400 highway.

Another person who was with Hüseyin Reber Türk during the attack was also injured. Upon reports from bystanders, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. The injured were taken to the hospital by ambulance. However, despite all interventions, Hüseyin Reber Türk could not be saved.

Türk's body was taken to the morgue for forensic procedures. The police have launched an investigation to apprehend the person or persons who carried out the attack. A detailed examination of the incident is ongoing.

It was stated that Hüseyin Reber Türk's funeral will be held in Mardin following the forensic examination.
