Ahsen Eroğlu gives statement as part of drug investigation
Famous actress Ahsen Eroğlu, who was included on a detention list during a large-scale drug operation, traveled to Istanbul to give a statement to the prosecutor after being out of town.
A new operation was carried out yesterday morning as part of a drug investigation targeting the world of celebrities. The list included a total of 14 people, among them actors, musicians, and figures from the television industry. Names included on the detention list were rapper Norm Ender, chef Somer Sivrioğlu, singer Mert Demir, and actors Büşra Pekin, Burak Deniz, Sinem Ünsal, and Hafsanur Sancaktutan.
As a result of the police teams' efforts, 11 people were taken into custody and were later released under judicial control with a travel ban imposed.
Ahsen Eroğlu, who was known to be outside of Istanbul due to a theater tour and was not in the city on the day of the operation, returned to Istanbul today and gave her statement to the prosecutor at the Kartal Courthouse.
The other individuals detained within the scope of the investigation were referred to the Council of Forensic Medicine after their procedures at the police station to provide blood and hair samples. Subsequently, the 11 famous names were released under judicial control. It was learned that Somer Sivrioğlu, who is stated to be abroad, and Sinem Ünsal, who is reported to be out of town, will also come to Istanbul to give their statements shortly.
