Former Prime Minister Prof. Dr. Necmettin Erbakan was commemorated at the Merkezefendi Cemetery in Zeytinburnu.
The commemoration program was attended by AKP Istanbul Provincial Chairman Abdullah Özdemir, Zeytinburnu Mayor Ömer Arısoy, and members of the AKP organization.
The program began with a recitation of the Quran, followed by prayers for the late Erbakan.
During the commemoration, the vision, service philosophy, and intellectual legacy that the late Erbakan contributed to Turkey's political life were remembered. Following the prayers, carnations were placed on Erbakan's grave.
