WHAT HAPPENED?
Speaking on behalf of his party during the General Assembly regarding the IYI Party's group proposal on "tax brackets," DEM Party Mersin Deputy Ali Bozan argued that the inflation data announced by TUIK did not reflect the truth.
AKP deputies reacted harshly to Bozan's words directed at TUIK and the AKP and walked toward the podium.
Meanwhile, Deputy Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Bekir Bozdağ adjourned the session. The tension continued during the break.
During the scuffle, Bozan was seen falling to the ground, while some CHP deputies intervened to try to separate the deputies. Bozan was later taken out of the General Assembly hall and brought to the opposition lobby.
