AKP Deputy Chairman Ala: Binding steps must be taken against Israel

In a post on his social media account, AKP Deputy Chairman Ala stated, "Netanyahu's order to his army to carry out new attacks, despite the ongoing severe humanitarian destruction in Gaza, constitutes a direct assault on peace efforts.

This decision is the product of a policy that disregards the safety of civilians in the region, destroys diplomatic avenues for resolution, and openly ignores the international community's calls for peace. Such steps are a reflection of a massacre-oriented mentality.

What is happening in Gaza has turned into a systematic genocide that cannot be explained by any security justification. Israel must no longer be allowed to stall the international community by using diplomacy," he said.

Ala stated, "The international community must not be content with merely 'condemning' Israel's aggressive policies; it must activate international legal mechanisms, initiate sanction processes, and take binding steps to protect civilians. Otherwise, this silence will mean indirect approval of the violations being committed.
