AKP Deputy Chairman Efkan Ala reacts to TÜSİAD: 'With old Turkey habits'

The remarks made by TÜSİAD High Advisory Council President Ömer Aras during the TÜSİAD General Assembly meeting, stating, "As a country, our morale is low. We are experiencing a crisis of confidence. The reason for this is the collapsing system," have become the focus of reactions.

While consecutive counter-statements have come from the government wing, another reaction came from AKP Bursa Deputy and AKP Deputy Chairman Efkan Ala.

'OUR NATION HAS NO TOLERANCE'

In a statement on his social media account, Ala said, "We reject the statements made by the TÜSİAD High Advisory Council President, who has essentially acted as a spokesperson for tutelage centers, using the habits of old Turkey. We brought Turkey to its current position by fighting against the flawed understanding of those who aspire to tutelage, and we will carry it to its goals. But it is seen that the remnants of old Turkey's tutelage still have not been able to abandon their habits of interfering with the national will from outside politics. Turkey is moving forward with confident steps toward the goals of the Century of Turkey under the administration of our President, who came to power with the direct will of the people, and our nation has no tolerance for such underdeveloped, antidemocratic ways and methods."
