AKP deputy showers praise on terrorist leader Öcalan! He also revealed Bahçeli's next move

The terrorist organization PKK announced that it had dissolved itself in a statement made on May 12.

"The decision of an organization that we have defined as the PKK terrorist organization until now to lay down its arms and dissolve itself is an extremely positive and important development for Turkey and the region," said Ekinci, adding, "First of all, those who took responsibility in this matter, especially Mr. Devlet Bahçeli, who took a significant risk and made a move on October 22 by risking great risks, and our President also made statements in support of him and stood behind him to the end. Subsequently, in response to the call made to Mr. Öcalan, he gave a positive answer, and the fact that the PKK made a decision to dissolve as of yesterday is an extremely important situation. "THE ORGANIZATION LISTENS TO MR. ÖCALAN"

Ekinci responded as follows to the question of whether there is any concern that the PKK might go back on its decision to lay down arms:

“The founder of this organization is Mr. Öcalan. Its founder and leader made a call. He said that the PKK has completed its term, that it has been repeating itself since the 90s, and that the PKK has become meaningless with an approach like a blood feud. Therefore, he declared that it should dissolve itself. So, in fact, for Abdullah Öcalan, this organization has been ended by the leader who founded it.

I do not think that the PKK and its components will object to this after Abdullah Öcalan's statement, but even if they did, these people would become marginalized after this point and are doomed to melt away, and they would not be successful. The toothpaste is out of the tube. From now on, whoever stands against this, whoever stands against this wind, is finished."

"DEMİRTAŞ COULD RETURN TO POLITICS"

Ekinci answered the question, "Could it be possible for names like Selahattin Demirtaş to return to political life and for their imprisonment to end in the near future?" as follows:

“It is a matter of a new constitution, that is, the work to be done at the center of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. Subsequently, with the constitution that is made, some things that were previously considered crimes will no longer be crimes from now on.

Since the conditions of that day have disappeared, it would not be right to continue treating Demirtaş as a criminal.

In other words, when a person gives up their mistake, there is no point in treating them as if they are still persisting in that mistake. This has not happened anywhere in the world, and it will not. This is something that foolish and irrational people would do.

For which crimes was Selahattin Demirtaş sentenced? In the current conjuncture, since the conditions of that day have disappeared, it would not be right to continue treating Selahattin Demirtaş as a criminal.

Moreover, he himself supported the process from beginning to end and stated this many times. He is one of the people I think will contribute to this in the coming period in Turkish politics. Demirtaş and people like him can return to politics and can also be actors in politics.”

"BAHÇELİ ALSO WANTS TO CROWN IT WITH A NEW CONSTITUTION"

Ekinci also pointed to the new constitution regarding the steps to be taken in the continuation of the process:

“Whatever the demands and requests that have caused terrorism until today and which terrorism has taken as a cause and justification for itself, those demands and requests will be discussed at the table from now on, after it has dissolved itself.

“Not only the terrorist organization, but the Kurdish people have had certain demands and requests until today. Those demands and requests will be discussed in parliament again, and these issues will be discussed thoroughly in the parliamentary environment with the participation of all parties, and this work will be concluded and crowned with the making of a constitution in a democratic environment, which our President has been talking about for a long time and which Mr. Bahçeli has always referred to in his calls."
